So I'm going to do a reader question this week. I was recently stoked to get my hands on a SM1000, which is super cool, and with the lilith reveal coming so soon I've been having a ton on fun with vintage blasters. What's your favorite vintage blaster and more importantly, why?
Let me know in the comments below:
//V''''V
I would probably say my favorite is either the SM750 or (drumroll please) the ever-famous Lock n Load.
ReplyDeleteI have to ask you a question, Drac. What is your favorite vintage blaster?
my favorite vintage blaster is the nerf lock and load
Deletehmmn bobo I agree it is the PULSTATOR PULSATOR PULSATOR!!!! PULSATOR!!!! or SM5000
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. I love the pulsator. I also like the arrowstorm, motorized bazooka, and ultimator. It's hard to chose, I love them all.
DeleteDoes the maverick count as a vintage blaster? And I mean the really old mavericks like from 1995 and stuff, it's not my favorite but it's a close second, my favorite vintage blaster would have to be the one you reviewed in your video the SuperMax 1000, I actually got one stock and in package and it had basically cut down Laramie darts, it's somewhere in my house and mine out of the box got 50 feet with six pumps then the ranges started to drop I opened it and regreased everything but still gets 30 feet flat with two pumps.
ReplyDeleteNo comments yet? Anyway my favourite vintage blaster is the wildfire.
ReplyDeleteI like the old Mavericks. I don't know if they are considered retro, but according to there performance to the new maverick, they pretty much are retro. The old blue Mavericks are more powerful, better made, and just look cool. The new Mavericks can only dream about the performance of the old blue mavericks.
ReplyDeletesupermax750 i really dont have it but if i had to pick it would be the sm750 u are awsome drac v''''v
ReplyDeleteI think the Lilith is the orange crossbow drac made a video about awhile ago, that's why he's talking about vintage blasters
ReplyDeleteI am pretty sure you are referring to the koosh vortex firestorm he did a video on. No that is not Lilith.
DeleteMy two favorites are probably the SM5000 and the Lock n' Load. SM5000 because of how powerful it can be, and how it can fire arrows, balls, and darts in stock form. Lock n' Load because of the overall coolness. :)
ReplyDeleteA crossbow derp
ReplyDeletesupertech 9000 with supertech 900 pistol and all attachments and ammo, just so frickin cool.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite vintage blaster is the Defender T3 because of their uniqueness. I love that you can take it apart and have two blasters with pretty equal power. They are also really cool-looking and modding potential is decent :D
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorites was the Gator Blaster from the Max Force line... it was REALLY bad by today's standards but it looked so EPIC... got to looking around and now I think I may be buying one from e-bay just for nostalgia's sake XD
ReplyDeleteI hate vintage blasters
ReplyDeleteMe too!!!
Deletewell i guess you like the weak blasters of today.
Deletefor example, if you mod a at3k from then, you can get 130 feet. RedHawK.
yeah the newer and current blasters of today are the best
DeleteSome vintage blasters like the lock n load and arrowstorm that got 50' got a lot better ranges than the current blasters today like the longstrike and raider that only get like 30'. The features of past blasters are also a lot cooler and unique than the modern day blasters. They also looked cooler.
DeleteThough there are many awesome vintage blasters, my fav is the famed Nerf Crossbow. The variety of ways to modify it are limited only by imagination, not to mention the ranges.
ReplyDeleteNerf Max Force line, Whiptail Scorpion. It doesn't have an amazing range or functionality. It's amazing because of the thought that was put into it; I'd like to meet it's designer. -It's super fun!
ReplyDeleteCrossBow And The ArrowStorm :)
ReplyDeleteAT4k. Definitely. To quote NoM, "it's like the Doomsayer's airgun brother." :)
ReplyDelete-David.
Do you have an exact date for the Lilith?
ReplyDeleteHey Drac, mine's gotta be the Laser Fang. Reason: it looks cool, gets great ranges, and VAMPIRE BATS ARE AWESOME!!!
ReplyDeletenickb2000
ReplyDeletethe sawtooth because it looks cool
my favorite is the arrowstorm because it is capable of shooting both arrows and mega darts. It is also cool how hard it actually shoots the mega darts.
ReplyDeletesupermaxx 750. small yet powerful with great modding potential, you cant go wrong.
ReplyDeleteAT3K becuz its just an epic nerf blaster.
ReplyDelete~RedHawK
Although some may not consider it vintage, as it is still in production, I still love my good old Big Bad Bow. I love the unique pull back prime it has. It's amazing to pull the arrows out in HvZ games and getting kills on unsuspecting zombies with a well modded BBB.
ReplyDeleteI love my manta ray cuz it's fat n' nasty. It takes the crookedness outa the competition, and she's slippery like some kinda moist towelette.
ReplyDeleteWOOOT! MANTA RAY FTW!!!!
DeleteThe Nerf Airtech 3000 because it is epic and has a lot of modding potential.
ReplyDelete~RedHawK
My favorite vintage blaster would have to be the MaxForce 2112 Laser Fang because it looks cool, gets nice ranges(stock), and I am lucky enough to own one.
ReplyDeleteEntry
ReplyDeleteMy favorite blaster is the Stampede. I also enjoy all the detailed reviews on your channel. It is my first goto for video reviews.
Dude. the stampede is no where near new. it was released a year ago.
DeleteMy fav vintage blaster it the lock and load It looks cool and and gets nice ranges fully moded
ReplyDeleteCrossbow all the way!
ReplyDeleteI like the BBB cause it has huge modding potential. I got one to shoot over 150ft! And I'm only 12
ReplyDeleteThe Big Bad Bow isn't vintage
DeleteYeah it is ding dong. Check 1997. I think.
DeleteDepends on if it's the hyper sight purple one or the newer red one
Deletemy favorite was the sharpshooter 2 and the arrow strike
ReplyDeletei love the at3k coz it gets reat ranges when properly modded. and also in my country(singapore) we have lot of 3k and in most war half of them are 3k
ReplyDeleteexpand a blast couse it looks like somethhing from a sci fi movie and all of its potential
ReplyDelete- Raul
Definately the Tek 3. It looks cool, it works well, and it shoots Mega Darts!
ReplyDeletethe Nerf crossbow as my favorite primary and the Nerf lock n load as my favorite secondary
ReplyDeleteAll of the vintage blasters are cool but it would probably be the Pulsator,ArrowStrom,or the Lock N Load if I had to pick.
ReplyDeleteI would say wildfire because nothing can scare the heck out of unsuspecting nerfers like the rat-a-tat-tat of a wildfire.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the at2k because it's so powerful and tiny.
ReplyDeleteoriginal tech target ftw
ReplyDeleteEpic nerf mods like a BOSS
ReplyDeleteCROSSBOWW!!!! or a tech target.
ReplyDeleteAT3K (if it's vintage.) Mainly 'cause it's my only vintage blaster lol.
ReplyDeleteIt's considered vinatge
