Buzz Bee Tek 4 Review

I meant to do this a couple days ago, but then life got in the way and I got sidetracked. Anyway, here is a review of the Buzz Bee Tek 4:

The Tek 4 is nearly identical in practice to the newer Rogue; they both are small, spring-powered blasters with 4-dart manual turrets. They also both get similar ranges; the Rogue gets 30' and the Tek 4 gets 25', although it's older and came from a thrift store. The major difference is the priming method; the Rogue has a sliding prime while the Tek 4 has a pull back prime.

One of the most interesting features of the Tek 4 is the plunger rod; it's nothing more than a thin metal rod. This is the only blaster that I know of that uses this kind of plunger rod, making it unique. The plunger head itself is akin to a super-extended SNAP plunger head, which is also very uncommon. This makes the Tek 4 an interesting blaster, if not a very good one.

  1. I have a couple of these. They are surprisingly better than they look like they'd be.

    2. No, I'm actually just really busy doing war prep for a war on Saturday. I actually can't answer that question, because people will come to stalk Drac. Maybe some day.

  3. The springs in these things are actually pretty powerful, stronger than a nightfinder and can be put into things like vulcans, night finders, swarmfires to either replace or add to the original spring. I currently have one in a swarmfire and vulcan with really good results.

In fact many buzzbee springs are ideal for this since they tend to use strong but smaller diameter springs.
