N-Strike Elite Retaliator

Nerf released a video on the new Elite Retaliator today. We didn't get much information, but we did get a much better look at the Retaliator, as well as confirming some rumors about it:

It's basically everything it's been rumored to be, which means the information we got on the other Elite blasters is probably also accurate. The stock looks cool, but it also looks a little bit short. The 12 dart clips are also interesting, but I'm not sure if they'll really be in demand. It also comes with a standard barrel extension and a Stampede Bipod 2.0.

  1. If you think about it, the "assault grip" is only useful on full or semi auto blasters due to the need to prime anything else.

    1. exactly thats what i thought. Originally i thought that that was gonna be how you prime it, but now it seems useless!

    2. If you use the barrel, it makes sense. It's more comfortable to line up shots while holding your hand vertically rather than across the bottom of the barrel.

    3. yeah but if you are priming from up top, you dont wanna go back and hold it, especially when you shoot fast like me.

    4. You could mod it with a manta style priming mechanism.

  6. I see no one here saw it so i will point it out for you, the "right" side only of the 12 dart clip is transparent and the left is not, i don't know why they didn't make it completely transparent like the vest clips. I do love the stock and I believe this will be pretty much an upgrade recon. Just note if this is $40 or less it will be cheaper than buying a recon and a orange mod works upgrade kit.

  7. Hey Drac will you get this and mod it for us so we can see the specs and see how far it shoots modded

  8. Hey drac nice channel and 75 feet is hard to believe the AR is probably removed and a spring upgrade so it probably won't need modding except for locks

    1. I find it hard to believe that Nerf would make a blaster with no AR. They implemented it in the first place to be safe. Also, blasters without ARs can break easier so Nerf uses them to protect the life of their blasters. Odds are that these new blasters use a more efficent style of AR and stronger spring, maybe a tighter barrel, better seal and stuff.

    2. Yes and it has a direct plunger system instead of a weaker reverse plunger system.

  9. To get the ranges it is getTing it should already be somewhat modded. I dont believe there will be a mod guide for it.

  10. So, let me get this straight. At the moment, with the exception of the Hailfire, it's looking like the Elite range is just a revamp of current blasters with different names, paintjobs and internals. Would I be right in saying that?

  11. It looks like its gonna prime just like the recon

  12. You could make use of the grip by unscrewing the tact rail part and take the rest and hot glue/gorilla glue it to the side of the priming mechanic so it would be easier to reprime.
